Why Study In Estonia

Estonia is a small country in Northern Europe. Despite its size, Estonia offers a lot of space and opportunities for foreigners coming here to study. On one hand, it is one of the greenest countries in the world and has quite a low population density, which makes its living environment very health-friendly. On the other, Estonia is the perfect place for connecting with the whole world, as it is an innovative digital country. Living and studying in Estonia is more comfortable for students because Estonia is a highly digitalised community. Estonia also has reasonable conditions for students to look for a job. International students are allowed to work full-time during their studies, as long as it does not interfere with their education.

Career Opportunities

There is typically a wide range of part-time work on offer from jobs in tutoring, language teaching, baby-sitting, interpretation, translation, to data processing, admin, IT programming & developing, clerical, waitressing and shop work. Typical part time work may also involve providing support services to a company that has operations in several countries (call centers, reservation centers, client support centers etc.). These are mostly international companies; therefore, a tolerance for diversity is needed to be comfortable in this type of work environment. Having the ability to speak or understand various languages is a plus in the Estonian job market. As Estonia also has a strong startup culture, students and graduates are encouraged to create their own startup/spin-off companies. Startup and entrepreneurship culture has tremendous local supporters in Estonia.
