Accademia Costume & Moda, founded in 1964, has a history in educating students for the Fashion, Performing Arts, Communication and Management. Qualifying itself in the years as a centre of excellence for its didactic method, the institute was listed in the top 3 fashion schools of the world in 2019, according to the Business of Fashion (BoF). 

Accademia Costume & Moda was founded by Rosana Pistolese, a costume and fashion historian, as well as costume designer for theater, television and cinema, as well as fashion and costume writer and publicist.
