Hibernia College

Hibernia College is a blended learning, higher education third level college dedicated to providing access to flexible, high-quality graduate, postgraduate and professional education employing cutting-edge technology. The Hibernia College School of Education encompasses and guides the initial teacher training programme and professional teaching course offerings of the College.


Scholarship


Hibernia College provides with 20 sports scholarships available to high performance sports people across a range of Irish sporting organisations, including the Camogie Association. Prospective applicants need to be a registered member of the Camogie Association to apply.Included in the scholarships scheme are courses within Hibernia College’s new suite of undergraduate programmes, launched on 11 July, which allow participants to study for University of London degrees through the College’s blend of online learning and regional onsite delivery.

Current DES requirements.

  • A honours degree, NFQ Level 8. ...
  • A Masters degree or PhD that is of NFQ Level 9 or higher is accepted in lieu of the honours degree.
  • Please note that an NFQ Level 8 higher diploma on its own does not fulfill this requirement.
  • Minimum grade C in GCE A level Irish.
  • Minimum grade C in GCSE English
