TU Darmstadt

Established in 2003, TU9 is an association of the nine most oldest and largest universities focusing on engineering and technology in Germany: Technical University of Darmstadt is one of therm.

Technical University of Darmstadt (Technische Universität Darmstadt) is one of Germany's leading research universities in Darmstadt. It is officially known as the City of Science. TU Darmstadt boasts an academia of 112 courses of study across 13 faculties, with over 25,000 students of which more than 7,000 are female. 18% of its student body is international. Programs at the TU Darmstadt focus on the future of research studies in disciplines such as computer sciences, radiation and thermal sciences, and natural sciences.


Scholarship


International exchange student at TU Darmstadt can apply for certain scholarships such as Erasmus+ International, DAAD East Partnerships Scholarship. Furthermore, there are other German institutions, such as the DAAD or the Fulbright Commission, which award scholarships for stays at German universities.

The Deutschlandstipendium supports particularly talented and committed students and thus supports the excellent training of future specialists and managers. Students receive 300 euros per month: Half of the monthly grant comes from the federal government and  the other half from companies, foundations and private sponsors.

Entry requirements are based on your prior study and specific requirements for qualifications the international students have most frequently achieved.

Admission requirements are set very high by the German Universities.

For Bachelor’s students need to either complete 1 year of Bachelors study in India, appear for IITJEE or they need to go with 1year of foundation course along with the language Course.(GERMANY has 13 year Education system 12+1)

For master programs, most German Universities require 4 year Bachelor degree to through with the admission.

- IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 80

German taught(For German taught programs, students need to pass German language test— Testdaf or DSH— for bachelor programmes.)
